Eagle Pointe Residents,
We are in the home stretch of the installation and start-up of the new Security System at Eagle Pointe.
In the next day or two, each of you will receive a text and email notification from Cell Gate with links for you to set-up the CellGate Mobile Connect app on your smart phone and the Cell Gate online portal. Remember Cell Gate is the supplier of our new WXL entry Kiosk devices, with one located at/near every one of our 5 gates. The installed CellGate Mobile Connect app will allow you to answer visitor calls when they are at a gate, view live video of the person at the gate and open the gate for them. If you have questions or issues when setting up the Cell Gate app, you can call Cell Gate at (855) 694-2837, press 3 for customer support, then press 2 for device, app or portal support.
Another way to let your visitors in through one of our gates is for you to use the app to create a QR code for your visitors to use to enter the community. The QR Code can be issued anytime within a resident selected, up to 24 hour period of time and the issue date can be selected anytime, up to one week in the future. Upon arrival at the gate, the visitor simply touches “Guest QR Code” on the WXL screen and then presents the QR code on their phone to the WXL screen and the gate will open. The code can be used multiple times during the resident selected access timeframe.
The Cell Gate online portal located at
www.zapopen.com will allow every resident to add/edit phone numbers on your Cell Gate account. You can have up to 3 phone numbers that will be called at the same time when a visitor calls you from the WXL Kiosk. You can also change the way your name is displayed on the WXL Kiosk. If you want to run the Cell Gate app on multiple phones in your household, use the same email address and password when you set-up the app on the other phone(s). Your name as recorded in the Tempo database was the name uploaded to the Cell Gate portal.
The new WXL Kiosk device will also work with smart phones without the app operating or non-smart phones (landlines) as well. Phones will receive a call from (972) 231-1999. After answering just press 1 to talk to the visitor, then press 9 if you wish to open the gate for them.
Each of you should have received a Security System update mailing from Tempo Properties (PMI). Included in the mailing are 2 RFID stickers. The stickers are the primary Resident access method into Eagle Pointe. The stickers should be installed on the inside of your vehicle front windshield either behind the rearview mirror or to the extreme left driver’s side of the windshield at either the top or bottom. Before permanently installing any stickers in your vehicles, once the Gates are in operation, hold the sticker up in the place you plan to install it, drive up to the gate to make sure the RFID reader sees the sticker and the Gate opens. The old garage door type openers and white swipe cards will NOT work with the new Security System.

Eagle Pointe Residents,
There have been many questions and concerns as we move forward with the new Security System at Eagle Pointe. Below are a few answers to questions residents have asked the PSA Security Admin.

1. The new Security System will not be put into operation until new directional signage is installed. The anticipated signage installation date is the third week of January. The signage will direct residents, visitors, vendors and new guests entering Eagle Pointe to the appropriate Gate, Restaurant or Golf Course.
2. To order additional stickers or hang tags there is a link on the PSA Website -

3. Additional hang tags will be available in approximately four weeks. The number of hang tags residents want to purchase was not anticipated.
4. For questions related to installing the Cell Gate app on your phone, please contact Cell Gate at (855) 694-2837, press 3 for customer support, then press 2 for device, app or portal support. Cell Gate is not authorized to make changes to the Eagle Pointe resident database.

We realize it takes time to work through the issues as we move forward instituting the new Eagle Pointe security system. Please be patient and together, we will get through this and in the end have a new cost effective Security System at Eagle Pointe.
